What Have You Two Been Doing In Here?

“You’re not moving,” he notes, looking completely breathtaking with his lazy smile and shooting-star eyes gleaming in the dark cab of my Malibu.
            “Neither are you.”
His smirk fades. He raises a hand to my cheek. The touch is charged like the sun is in his fingertips.
My heart stumbles a little in my chest, like it can’t juggle beating and being close to Beckham at the same time.
Pinching my chin between his fingers, he pulls my mouth to his. The kiss starts slow like it did before, filled with heat and softness. His tongue traces my lips, sends shivers down my arms and into my tummy. My body turns to boiling liquid, and I sort of attack him. I cradle his head in my hands and pull him closer.
My skin bursts. I’m hyper-aware of every inch of me and of him. His lips move, soak into mine like mine are dry and he’s lotion. His hands trace my back, scale my body, and tangle themselves into my hair.
I lose track of time. Sucked in by him. Every touch. Every move. And I’m mad that the huge compartment thingie between the seats keeps me from getting closer to him.
Our mouths blend together. Man, this boy is amazing. I don’t even know what cold is anymore, what it was like before I’m being burned by him. His lips and tongue do things I don’t even know lips and tongues can do. And I just try to keep up. It’s so much, and I never want to stop.
Someone knocks loud on Beckham’s window. Jerks our lips apart. Blood pounds under my ears, and my breathing is off the charts. I straighten my hair as Steve and Lacey smirk at us, and Steve waves, grinning like the Cheshire cat.
“Looks like the dance is over,” Beckham says.

Ta dum! There's one of the kissy-kissies from my book Where Are Boys From, Uranus? (that I'm currently querying) .

And just to add to the sizzle, here's a song I can always rely on for writing those steamy moments! It's one of my faves.

Edge of Desire by John Mayer

Okay, one more. This is also One of Swoonage for me. I just LOVE the lyrics because she's sitting there daring the mundane things around her to make her stop thinking about...whoever she's thinking about, lol. Love it. I get all melty anytime I hear this one!! *sighs*

When I'm Thinking About You by The Sundays
Huge thanks to Cassie and Hope for this awesome bloghop!

Sizzlin' hot! Thanks for sharing it. Funny, my female MC's husband's name is Beckham. You're the only other writer I've ever seen use that name!

BTW - new follower her via the bloghop!
