Okay, like so many of you beautiful lovelies I too have been TAGGED!! By several people! So I'm going to go with the questions from my latest tag, Alyssa.

1. What is your favorite holiday?
Such a tough call! When it's October, my favorite holiday is Halloween. I love all things creepy (or most things. I draw the line at the weird bloody skeletons goggling in massive pain and hanging from chains on the wall). And then when it's December my favorite holiday is Christmas!!! <3

Loyalty? What's that? :-p

2. Who is your idol?
Is it safe to say critique partners? Man, I don't know what I'd do without these awesome ladies! They are not only awesome betas who know their stuff and always give excellent, necessary, brutally honest advice, but they are also my friends and cheering squad. Huge shout out to Morgan, Liz, Anne, and Juliana!! Love you guys!!

3. If you could visit any place in the world where would you go?
Paris. Without hesitation, Paris, France. There's something so romantic and ideal about that city, about the French language in general. I took three years of French in college and wish I could still remember all of it! But someday I want to stand under the Eiffel Tower and look straight up!

4. What's your favorite genre?
I'm a SUCKER for a good love story. Not the kinky erotica romance stuff, but a solid, great-characters-defying-unbeatable-odds love story. Whether its in a fantasy, sci-fi, contemporary, whatever, I'll take it! (Oh, and YA, definitely YA, though I do enjoy fiction in general. YA is my fave.)

5. What or who has inspired your writing the most?
I think reading inspires my writing. I used to sit at my desk (when I had a job before having kids, now I'm a stay-at-home mom), and listen to Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series on CD, as well as the Harry Potter books (which I have to say, if you haven't heard Jim Dale's rendition of reading the Harry Potters--you HAVE to listen to at least one! He does different voices and it's so fabulous. I actually prefer listening to him than just reading the books myself) and stories would fly around in my brain as I listened. Reading great writing inspires me to want to write like that, to accomplish something that people can love and hold in their hearts. Yikes, that ended on a sappy note, didn't it?

6. If you could choose any superpower, what would you have?
I love this question! I think I'd take the Mary Poppins power, to be able to snap my fingers and have the room clean itself! Then I'd have more time for writing. :-p

7. If you had to be a villain, who would it be? Why?
The Joker from The Dark Knight. Seriously, he has got to be the coolest villain ever written. I think one thing that makes him so impactful is that he's likeable, as well as evil. If I've got to be evil, I want people to still like me, lol!!

8. What is your favorite animal?
Cats. I have always loved cats, although I'm allergic to them now, which is kind of sad. They're just so fluffy and cuddly (the cool ones, anyway), and there's something therapeutic about having a cat purr on your lap.

9. What is your favorite food?
Hmm, depends on what mood I'm in. I love strawberry shortcake, though. Where you chop up strawberries and buy the little angel food cake buns and then top it all with whipped cream? Yum!

10. Who is your favorite author?
My favorite book of all time is Jane Eyre, so does that make Charlotte Bronte my favorite author? I guess so. There isn't really one author who stands out in my mind, so I'll pick her. :-p

11. What is your biggest fear?
Drowning. Since I was a kid I've been terrified of water. I can get in it, but I can't stand to be submerged. When hubby and I were dating he told me his previous girlfriend hated water and I wanted to one-up her, so I told him I was in a swimming class and then I hurried and changed my schedule. Lol. So I can swim, I just don't like to. :)

Ta da, there's me in 11 questions! :D

Now to pass it on...

Ashley Nixon
Nancy Thompson
Crystal Licata
PK Hrezo
Lisa L. Regan

And your questions are:

1. Plotter or pantser?
2. Who is your favorite character and why?
3. Name two things within arm's reach.
4. If you could go back and do anything over again, what would it be?
5. Date with a celebrity--who would you pick?
6. What is your favorite song?
7. What genre do you write in?
8. What's your favorite thing to do other than write?
9. What's the coolest thing you've ever done?
10. Where is the coolest place you've ever been?
11. What is your favorite quote?

Have at it, ladies! Can't wait to see your answers! :D

I love reading a really good love story! I love writing them too :) Any kind as long as there is a happy ending or close enough to. And ever since I read Anna and The French Kiss I have dreamed about going to Paris. I love that your critique partners are your idols, that's great.

I'm going to get in contact with you next week about the bloghop. I'd love for you to be a partner in crime :)

Thanks for the tag! So I did something similar to this on my blog the other day before I got your tag so I'm just going to answer the questions here:
Plotter or pantser? - A little bit of both.

3. Name two things within arm's reach. Phone and snacks.
4. If you could go back and do anything over again, what would it be? I'd manage my money better in my 20s.

7. What genre do you write in? Crime/Suspense
