Happy Thanksgiving!!

In honor of the thankful-est holiday, here are a few things I'm thankful for:

My awesome husband and adorable, smart, healthy kids.
Other family members, including my mom, who is my best friend.
Writing; pens, paper, computers, opportunities for improvement.
The internet, so I can keep up with all you wonderful people, including my awesome beta pals.
Books that I can just sit and devour because they're so good.
My faith. I believe in Jesus Christ.

There are so many more, but these are just a few. Last night the hubby and I sat down with our boys and wrote down the things we're thankful for, and it was so fun to hear what my four year old kept coming up with. "What about pillows, Mom? And sinks?"

I can't wait to chow down on some yummy turkey this week, but I can't deny all the cool, amazing, wonderful blessings that are mine!!!

What about you, what are your thankfuls?

Hope you all have a fun, safe Thanksgiving!!

Cute!! We always ask my three-year-old son before bed what he's grateful for. Most of the time he says friends, but one time he threw in sprinklers out of nowhere and it had just snowed outside! Funny kids, gotta love them!

Great post. We have such a huge extended family and Thanksgiving is a big party with a ton of food, cocktails and football games. I think we sometimes lose track of the purpose of the the holiday. You have reminded me that I need to get back to the basics with my own kids and let them understand and express what they are thankful for.

I am thankful for my family, my health, that my dad is still with me, that my writing is progressing at a good rate, and for all of my new blogger friends.

Have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

I am also thankful for pillows and sinks! (We remodeled our kitchen last year, and after going a couple weeks without a sink, I can DEFINITELY say I'm thankful for that one.) I am HUGELY thankful for my family.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. My three year old is thankful that daddy works (lol so am I) and she was thankful for me because I paint her nails :).

I'm thankful for my incredibly supportive husband, and my happy, healthy daughter.
