Halloween Blog Hop

Hello! I am also participating in Jeremy Bates' Halloween Hop!

Even though I LoVE Halloween, I'm kind of a wuss when it comes to scary movies and stuff. So my favorite Halloween movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas.

We watch it over and over because my four year old loves it too, he loves skeletons. I love the music and the characters, but mostly the music! And this year I'm dressing as a devil, mwa haha. I even have little clip on horns and a red feather boa. Pictures to come!!

What about you? What's your favorite spooky/scary movie? Are you dressing up this year?

O.M.G. I love Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington is the best thing ever. I <3 the soundtrack, everything. Okay. I'll stop. Nice to meet you, and I'm a new follower now, btw :)

Not a fan of spooky/scary movies. Suspenseful, yes, but scary, no. I can't wait to see your Halloween costume!

I'm not a huge fan of monster/scary movies. I love the Dracula and Frankenstein novels because they're interesting, not because they're supposed to be scary - and I LOVE The Nightmare Before Christmas, it's so awesome!

Nightmare before Christmas is sweet! I'm not a huge fan of scary movies either . . . as you probably already noticed from my post.
It's great to meet you!!!

I'm a huge fan of Michael Myers. I watch the original Halloween every year. I don't know if I'll dress up this year, but one year I did go as inflatable 8 Ball, which was hilarious.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a GREAT movie! I really want to be a pirate this year, but I still haven't got my costume. Nice blog you have here :)

I love scary movies, but only if I'm not on my own. And the bad guy has to die at the end :-)

Happy Halloween Hop, Cortney - good to *meet* you ;) I'm embarrassed to admit that I've never seen The Nightmare Before Christmas *pause for gasps* so I'm so glad you told me your 4-year-old loves it; for some reason, I thought it was PG-13. I'm going to pick it up this weekend for me and the kids ;)

My oldest son has LOVED Halloween since he was 2, so that movie is a favorite too. I haven't watched it in a few years, good idea for this weekend!
I'm going as Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood for Halloween.

Thanks for stopping by, everyone!

@Melissa-I saw the Halloween movies a looong time ago! The inflatable 8 ball sounds awesome.

@Shelley-I hope your kids love it too!

@Aniko-I've never heard of The Haunting of House Hill, but the title sounds intriguing!

Hope you all have a great Halloween! And @Sarah, the bad guys definitely have to die at the end!

I've heard of that movie before, but never saw it. The director did Coraline, too, right? That was a good movie . . . :)

I used to love scary movies until about 5 years ago. Then I realized I just go to them and close my eyes the whole time. Kind of a waste of money so I just don't go anymore:)

Happy bloghoppin'!

My favourite scary movie or book...erm well i'm not really a fan of anything scary to be honest lol! A total wimp! Though i did manage to sit through Sleepy Hollow- Johnny Depp had a lot to do with that :-D

This year i won't be dressing up until next month when i go and visit my sister in Scotland. Not a clue what i'm going to wear yet...lol.

Hi Cortney,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I love blog hops, they're so much fun! This year I won't dress up for Halloween :( I have to pick up a friend at the airport in the evening and play hostess. I don't usually watch horror films (I used to when I was a teenager).
Happy Halloween and happy blog hop!!!!

I don't do scary movies at all, but my hubby and son watch them about 3 nights a week. I just leave the room and try to drown out the screaming. I'm following you now. Thanks for checking out my blog!

I dropped by from your interview at Michelle's blog!

I LOVE the movie Hocus Pocus-- I think I have Bette Midler's "I Put a Spell on You" song memorized. :)

And I'm going to be a devil for Halloween too, complete with feather boa! Lol.

I am a total wuss, too!

I’m here visiting from Jeremy Bates' blog hop, and I love your blog!

My favorite scary book is IT (scared the crap out of me as a kid), movie that horrified me most was Rob Zombie’s remake of Halloween, and I did not dress up this year, because I suck. One of my favorite costumes in the past was "Dead Baby Roller Blades."

Happy Halloween! If you decide to return the visit, I'm at http://www.amberrisme.com
